"I joined WSP 10 years ago as a Senior Environmental Consultant focusing on corporate environmental management and compliance. WSP is a dramatically different business now to a decade ago. We are much bigger and much more diverse in what we do. Now I am responsible for the Asia Pacific region and also exploring emerging environmental markets within Europe.
Over the last six years I played a key role in creating our businesses in North America, China and Eastern Europe. In Asia, we now have 3 offices across the main business hubs of Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong. We are experiencing good growth with both domestic clients and global businesses with operations in China. In Romania we work with a mixture of large corporate clients and developers from our office in Bucharest which we opened in 2006. We are equally strong in Germany and Poland, and we are developing our presence in Italy.
I have also been heavily involved in the development and maintenance of our Global Key Client Programme which was designed to help us work better with our global clients across all of their locations, and I still enjoy leading many of those global relationships today."
Philip's Background
Philip is a qualified environmental consultant and has experience in working on the corporate management of environmental issues for companies across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East and South Africa. And he also has deep experience in working in many sectors, including; automotive, health care, construction, finance, IT, oil and gas, and the public sector.
Philip has been involved in large-scale and global projects which cover corporate environmental management and strategy, environmental health and safety programmes and compliance, environmental due diligence, environmental management systems and sustainability reporting, and product compliance and environmental stewardship.
