WSP Environment & Energy has been operating across Africa for over 10 years. We have offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pietermaritzburg, from which we manage projects across Africa.

We have a team of over 30 environmental specialists, making us one of South Africa's most diverse and innovative environmental consultancies.

What we do...

We work with both private and public clients across all major sectors in South Africa, including agriculture, development, infrastructure, industrial, mining, and tourism.

Where you might recognise our work...

Clients we have worked with whose names you might recognise include; Anglo Platinum, AngloGold Ashanti, Sappi, BMW, RandWater, Eskom, AB Mauri, SAPREF and more. You may also recognise our work on the Sappi Saiccor Expansion in Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Thesen Island Remediation project in Knysna, And we have provided the geotechnical services for the World Cup stadium in Cape Town for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Equality...

With effect from 1 January 2009, Intsaki, an Investec Private Bank backed black Economic Empowerment Consortium, acquired a 26% equity stake in WSP Africa through subscription of new shares in WSP Africa. 

The deal will enable WSP Africa to comply with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Codes of Good Practice for Black Economic Empowerment.  This will in turn open up new business opportunities for the Group which includes WSP Environmental (Pty) Ltd.
