Due Diligence
We offer an integrated service in Romania and neighbouring countries including, Bulgaria, Hungary, Serbia and Ukraine. We can facilitate the most complex transactions, providing advice across environmental, energy, health and safety and corporate responsibility areas. Environmental Planning and Permitting
We offer technical support on the Romanian permitting process. This includes technical memoranda, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments, public meetings and regulatory liaison.  We also support industrial clients through Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) permits.

Geotechnical Services
With a wide variety of ground conditions, and being located within a seismically active zone, Romania presents specific challenges for any development team.  With a dedicated team of WSP engineers and local sub-contractors we are able to offer clients a full geotechnical assessment and design service to both Romanian and International codes. 

Soil & Groundwater
Our team of geologists, geotechnical engineers and environmental scientists provide soil & groundwater services to British, European, American or Romanian standards.  We provide contaminated land and hydrogeological assessments, intrusive ground investigation, site feasibility assessments and much more.

Land Remediation
We provide guaranteed solutions for the remediation of contaminated land and groundwater pollution and the associated risks.  We apply sustainable and innovative on-site treatment technologies and through carefully selected partners, can provide a complete design and contracting service

Sustainability
We work with developers, architects, urban designers, master planners and corporations and bring expertise across transport, waste, water, environmental impacts, renewable energy, carbon and climate change and we design integrated sustainability strategies. 

Waste Management

We provide services to industry and municipalities alike, advising on waste minimisation, landfill design and construction supervision, and commercial waste tariff setting. We are able to provide technical expertise to ensure all aspects of waste management meet the relevant statutory requirements.
