WSP Environment & Energy is a global consultancy with over 1000 staff and 60 offices offering advice to clients across all sectors of the economy. We are looking to make a number of appointments in our Johannesburg office in support of our growing Air Quality, Contaminated Land and Environmental Services Teams.

Technical Director - Air Quality Management

The incumbent will be required to have a MSc or PhD in a relevant field including physics, chemical engineering or atmospheric science, a minimum of 10 years experience, a proven track record in the air quality monitoring, modelling and risk assessment in the mining and industrial sectors in Southern Africa and have worked extensively with air quality modelling software including  ADMS,  Aermod and Calpuf.

Technical Director - Contaminated Land

The incumbent will be required to have a MSc or PhD in a relevant geoscience, a minimum of 12 years experience, a proven track record in the investigation, risk assessment and remediation of contaminated land in the mining and industrial sectors in Southern Africa and have worked extensively with geohydrological modelling packages including Visual Modflow 3D.

The successful candidates will report to the WSP Environment & Energy board and will be responsible for the day to day management, technical direction and growth of the relevant teams.

Principal Consultant - Environmental Services

The incumbent will be required to have a minimum of a MSc Degree in a natural science, chemical engineering or related field, a minimum of 8 years experience in Environmental Consulting in Southern Africa, excellent verbal and written communication and have proven track record in project, team and client management.

Senior Consultant - Contaminated Land

The incumbent will be required to have a minimum of a BSc (Hons) in an earth science or related field, at least 5 years experience in Contaminated Land or Waste Management Consulting in Southern Africa, excellent verbal and written communication and have proven track record in project management.
