WSP Group in Asia

In this region our Group business is represented as WSP Asia, with a regional headquarter in Hong Kong.

We have 300 people in the region with strong representation in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Singapore, Manila and Hanoi, in addition to Hong Kong. 

WSP Asia's experts and engineers have been responsible for a large number of landmark infrastructure and building projects throughout Asia.  Success is based on our comprehensive regional presence, our understanding of local cultures and our knowledge, supplemented by world class resources from across our global business. 

Our track record includes the design of large retail schemes, office buildings, private housing, factories and leisure facilities, and the civil engineering of roads, railways, bridges, ports and communication systems. 

The project work of WSP Asia stretches across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Philippines and Vietnam; for example:

• WSP provided full building consultancy services for EDSA Shang Towers, a development of two prestige 60 storey residential towers in Manila in the Philippines
• At Nanjing Airport in China we provided training in management procedures and assisted with the development of new airport organisational and management structures
• In Beijing we developed an innovative and cost effective solution to control smoke in the atriums of the 25 storey China Poly Plaza development

And in 2008 WSP Asia won a Hong Kong Revit BIM Experience award for a project titled 'Designing Singapore's Sci-Fi Building'.
