WSP Group is one of the world's largest design, engineering and management consultancies specialising in property, transport and infrastructure projects. Our multi-disciplinary service enables WSP to offer a truly integrated service.

The business began in the early 1970's and Chris Cole, our Chief Executive, joined WSP in 1972. Today WSP has over 10,000 people across 100 locations around the world. WSP has won awards and been involved in some of the world's biggest developments and tallest buildings.

WSP is one of the largest multi-disciplinary engineering consultancies in Africa, with offices across the African continent. WSP has been operating in Africa for over 10 years. We have particularly strong roots in South Africa where in 1999, WSP acquired a 76% share of the South African based WEVS Group. Since then we have continued to grow and evolve to become one of the top 5 consultancies in South Africa.

The diversity of expertise in  the Group is unparalleled in sub-Saraharan Africa and we are able to offer services for construction projects from cradle to grave, including:

• the environmental authorisation before the project begins
• the sustainable engineering design aspects of the development
