Chris Hazen, Director of WSP Environment & Energy's operations in Asia, was recently interviewed by 'Supply Chain Expert Community' on the business implications of worker health and safety risks in supply chains.
Chris has been working in Asia for about 10 years, and also spent about 10 years in the US primarily consulting to the electronics and high technology sector. He has done work throughout the supply chain, from some well-known brands all the way down to SME electro plating shops in the back corners of China. He is currently based in Hong Kong.
In this interview, Chris talks about the links between worker health and safety risks and brand reputation risks and about actions brands and retailers can take to reduce these risks.
