WSP Environment & Energy is delighted to announce the further expansion of its business in North America with the recruitment of a team of sustainability and energy professionals.

The team, led by Evan A. Evans, P.E. who has 30 years experience in sustainable energy, consists of seven professionals and joins WSP from Econergy International Corporation, an international advisory firm specializing in carbon management and renewable energy.

The team brings expertise in carbon emissions management, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, clean energy and sustainable energy infrastructure and has a proven track record in delivering measurable value to an impressive blue chip client base. It also has a large subcontract agreement in place to support the USEPA's Climate Leaders program, through which the team has advised nearly 80 clients such as Air Products, Ecolab, American Airlines, Virgin America, California Portland Cement, Applied Materials and United Technologies.

WSP is one of North America's leading providers of integrated sustainability and energy solutions, combining strategic advisory expertise with world class technical resources. This recruitment further strengthens WSP's sustainability and energy services portfolio, which helps clients address the challenges presented by the emerging low-carbon economy.
