John Simon to present webinar on sustainable and green remediation | 24th Feb 2010

WSP Environment & Energy's John Simon is presenting a BNA webinar on Sustainable Remediation: Current Status and Future Developments on Thursday March 4th at 2pm (EST).

Green and sustainable remediation is probably the hottest issue currently facing the remediation industry.  There are many fascinating developments related to this subject and green and sustainable concepts are being embodied by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and many state regulatory agencies. In this rapidly evolving area, many organizations are working to establish green and sustainable remediation concepts and principles. Such organizations include ASTM, Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council (ITRC), and the Sustainable Remediation Forum (SURF).

John Simon, Executive Vice President of WSP Environment & Energy's North American business, and a member of SURF and the ASTM task group, is ideally placed to present on this topic. In this 90-minute webinar, he will cover the current status of various green and sustainable remediation initiatives and insights on how these concepts will impact the cleanup of contaminated sites.

This presentation is part of a series of environmental, health and safety (EHS) webinars being held by BNA, the largest independent publisher of information and analysis products for professionals in business and government in North America.
