Robert Kloepfer joins WSP as Global Director - Environment | 9th Sep 2010

Bob is an environmental professional with over 30 years of experience in government, industry and consulting. He has worked with many of the world's leading corporations on the design, development and implementation of systems to maximize EH&S regulatory compliance, risk control and business sustainability.

 

Bob has joined from ERM where for 6 years he was a Principal Partner and Global Key Client Director. He will be based in New York with WSP.

 

Bob has taken a position on both the Management Board of WSP's US operation, and also on its Global Management Board, where he has overall responsibility for the continued development of WSP's international environmental consulting business, reporting to Global MD, Stuart McLachlan in London.

 

Describing the significance of this appointment, Stuart McLachlan, Global MD, said: "This is a very strategic hire for our business as we continue to expand our operation internationally and work with clients across geographies."

Bob is a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor, a former Director of the Auditing Roundtable in the U.S., and prior to ERM he worked for Haley & Aldrich and ENSR amongst other organizations. He has extensive experience developing and managing multi-media environmental compliance and management systems programs and has worked with clients in the fields of power generation, manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceutical, utilities, insurance, petroleum and many more.
