Rosebud Mining selects WSP’s environmental data management solution for compliance reporting | 30th May 2012
WSP Digital announced that Rosebud Mining Company has selected the company's E-Records Information Management System (ERIMS®) to handle its environmental data management and compliance reporting needs. Rosebud is the third largest coal producer in Pennsylvania with facilities there and in Ohio.
"WSP understands the environmental challenges and obligations mining companies face," Dennis Foster, Manager of Permitting at Rosebud said. "The comprehensiveness of WSP's ERIMS platform and its ability to be customized to meet our specific needs were important factors in our choice."
ERIMS will be used to standardize and streamline processes for meeting permit requirements, managing field and laboratory data, and producing reports for regulatory agencies and internal use. The initial phase of the implementation began in May and will be completed in August.
