WSP Environment & Energy speaker at 'Communications Goes Green' Conference in Las Vegas | 26th Jun 2008

Andrew Sweatman from the Online Solutions team, WSP Environment & Energy formed part of an expert panel on 'Global Warming: Technolgy Strategies to Reduce Carbon Footprints for the Telecom Sector' at the Communication Goes Green Conference in Las Vegas on 19th June.

Communication Goes Green is the first business summit to explore how telecommunications manufacturers, developers, applications, services and technologies can create a sustainable future. The summit focused on how companies can develop environmentally friendly practices, adopt green policies and deploy energy saving technologies, while still keeping their competitive edge. Andrew also discussed 'New Regulations driving Green Product Design' and 'The Coming Regulatory Storm in European Environmental Regulation of Energy Using Products.'

The summit was located at NXTcomm08, an exhibition where more than 500 exhibitors showcased new technologies, services and products for the communications industry.
