WSP launch dedicated REACH website | 24th Apr 2007

We are delighted to announce the launch of a dedicated website from WSP Environmental focused on REACH, the new EU chemicals legislation.

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals and is due to come into force in June 2007. It has been hailed as the largest and most complex piece of legislation to be introduced in Europe to date. It will drive major changes through the European manufacturing industry and require significant action for importers of chemicals and other manufactured goods.

Through our global Corporate Services team, WSP Environmental is able to advise clients worldwide on their approach to the legislation. This specially built website provides a core part of our integrated marketing campaign to raise awareness of our capacity to inform and advise businesses affected by the REACH legislation.

The Chemical Industries Association has been very supportive in working with us and has accredited WSP as 'REACHReady', which means we are an approved advisor able to support organisations with their compliance.
